Health Services Systems Software Analyst
Salary: $127,230.84 - $154,655.59 Annually

- As a Health Services Systems Software Analyst, you will develop the role-based access program, audit onboarding and offboarding, and perform support and maintenance tasks. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Designing Schema for relational databases using principles and best practices in Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Performing administrative tasks for relational databases, including access management and system testing
- Monitoring activity on Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems (some of the systems used include: Streamline, Persimmony, Orchard, OnBase, eClinicalWorks, DCAR, Avatar, and SWITS)
- Supporting and responding to incidents involving the County of Sonoma and vendor-based partners, working collaboratively to resolve issues among internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinating with Department of Health Services (DHS) teams to develop improved processes
- Identifying and evaluating software that is currently used or being uploaded to our systems for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance and security risk
- Supporting hardware-based troubleshooting issues amongst DHS personnel and stakeholders
- Coordinating amongst all sections of DHS to support data analysis efforts within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- May act as a technical subject matter expert on one or more EHR systems
